Our mission
Provide data intelligence consultancy You Can rely on
Focus your time & effort on running your business, and trust Irma to guide you in your data maturity journey
The amount and variety of existing and new DATA being generated in the world (including the ones being added today by your organisation, for example) is unprecedented. This growth continues, as do the opportunities for organisations like yours to use this data to create change that matters.
A data culture is the set of behaviours and beliefs of people that value, practice and encourage the use of DATA to improve decision making. As a result, data is an integral part of an organisation’s operations, mindset and identity.
According to Deloitte Insights’ research into analytics-driven businesses, organisations with a strong data culture were twice as likely to have significantly succeeded against their business goals.
A data culture gives everyone in your organisation the information they need to be truly data-driven and tackle your most complex business challenges. Our experience shows that companies with a strong data culture :
- Reduce data silos, enabling teams to make full use of the information available to them (within the principle of least privilege)
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling using customer data
- Improve the efficiency of their business and reduce wastage
- Have a greater awareness of their market position and customers.
Data Culture Assessment is the fundamental block for developing analytics and data maturity in an organisation.
Conducting a data culture assessment gives you a clear picture of where your organization stands. With this, you can understand the changes you need to develop data culture within your company.
Irma’s mission is to help you make better use of data. Whether you want to take a strategic view or just understand where you are at, we can help. Perhaps you have a specific project, want to focus on getting the right data, or perhaps you want to build the knowledge and skills of your team ?

How can we Help
your organisation
become data mature ?
Our modern society produces
an enormous amount of data every day:
in other words, DATA is all around us
Data maturity is a measure of how advanced a business is at managing and utilising data. Organisations that use DATA to make decisions on a day-to-day basis are likely to be data mature, while those who do not yet use analytics are at the start of this journey.
We coach our clients to develop a strong data culture and become truly data-driven. We provide everything from specific expertise on discrete issues to holistic transformations covering strategy design, development, implementation, capacity building and ongoing support.
At Irma, we believe that organisartions with a high level of data maturity are strong across these four pillars:
- Strategy: Direction, roadmap and destination.
- Culture: Tolerance for risk, appetite for data-driven decision making.
- Organisation: Focus on continual improvement, data privacy, collaboration and trust.
- Capability: Expertise, process and tooling required to deliver on their goals for data and artificial intelligence (AI).
The Five Levels of Data Maturity
Within each of the above pillars there are five levels of data maturity:
- Level 0 : Data is not a priority for the organisation.
- Level 1 : the organisation has realised that data is valuable, but is struggling with multiple sources and duplication. Data extraction remains a complex task, but the organisation wants to learn how data transformation could change the way it works. It observes how other organisations do it, hoping to understand what it might mean for it.
- Level 2 : Data has become a tangible asset that the organisation wants to make use of. Useful answers are now available that simplify the work of its employees. Data sources are increasingly being reconciled and someone has taken responsibility for ensuring that this becomes commonplace
- Level 3 : The organisation has integrated the data into its strategy. This is the time for reinforcement. Data is now proactive and supports employees in their approach. Silos have been broken down and the organisation has enacted a plan for data to be catalogued and understood by all. It has started to execute this plan, which is a long and difficult process.
- Level 4 : The organisation has matured and is gradually becoming data-driven. Data has become a strategic asset and Artificial Intelligence is part of everyday life. AI recommendations help the employee to anticipate better and new ways of working emerge. New opportunities are emerging and enabling new business models.
Irma relies on a network of consultants, all with extensive industry and technical expertise. They understand the underlying economics of the service and healthcare industries. They know how to analyse our clients’ needs and the competitive dynamics that affect them. They have the know-how to move our clients along the path to data maturity.
Ready to become data mature ?
Let's talk about what you could do
Effective data intelligence can help your organisation deliver on its promises to your customers. But it can do even more, especially with artificial intelligence. For example, it becomes possible to predict when machines are likely to break down and be proactive in fixing them. You can accurately anticipate future workloads (such as hospital emergency room admissions) and optimise resources accordingly. With accurate predictions, you can bring reliability and performance to your business. But to do this, you need to be data mature and able to leverage your data assets to effectively achieve your goals.
